When it comes to planning your big day, there are SO many details that you have to remember. Not the least among them, you’ll need a NJ marriage license for me to officiate your wedding! NJ residents should apply in the municipality of their residence and the license will be good anywhere in the state.
You can print the Application for License: Marriage, Remarriage, form the NJ.gov website and complete it before you head to the local registrar. Remember NOT to sign the form before you go, though! You will be required to sign the application in the presence of the issuing authority while under oath.
If you reside outside New Jersey, you’ll need to apply for your marriage license where the ceremony will take place. If your ceremony will be taking place at our location, keep in mind the Westampton Municipal Building is just a few blocks down from our ceremony venue. There is a 3 day waiting period. Please call them at 609-267-1891 ext. 6 to arrange an appointment to apply for your NJ marriage license.
If you have additional questions, you can go to the state of New Jersey website. If you don’t know where to apply in your county, you can click here to find your local registrar, as well as their address and phone number.
